Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Kogod School of Business at American University. My research interests are at the intersection of finance and industrial organization, and my work studies (1) how government intervention in lending markets may perturb incentives, and (2) how US retail mergers affect prices and quantities, striving to better understand the role of synergies, market power, and competition policy.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University in 2022.
