David Pérez-Mesa

I am a Catalina Ruiz Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance at the University of La Laguna. I am also a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Applied Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and affiliated to CEDESOG and EQUALITAS. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of La Laguna. 

My research focuses on Health Economics and Development Economics. I study the determinants and evolution of health and health inequalities in both children and adults—with a particular emphasis on children—as well as inequality of opportunity in health.
