David Pérez-Mesa

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher "Catalina Ruiz" in the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance at the University of La Laguna. I am also a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Applied Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Affiliated to CEDESOG and EQUALITAS. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of La Laguna. 

My research focuses on the areas of Health Economics and Development Economics, particularly on the analysis and evolution of the determinants of health and health inequality (in both children and adults), as well as on the study of inequality of opportunity in health.
