Dr. David Nagarathinam was conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai in September, 2019 for his thesis work entitiled, "Vortex Instability and Bistability in Rotating Flows".  Before joining IITM, he completed his Batchelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering under Anna University in 2010 and earned his Master of Engineering degree from the Department of Space Engineering and Rocketry, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi in 2012. As a post-doctoral researcher, his current research interests include fluid mechanics, vortex instability, large-scale rotating flows and cavitating flows.

His fluid mechanics lecture videos and the associated transcripts and slides are shared here for the benefit of all students and researchers.
