My name is David Kirahira Njoroge, a Kenyan artist, community leader, author, and aspiring healthcare professional. I am passionate about using creativity, leadership, and service to create positive change in communities and inspire others to pursue their dreams.
Through art, I seek to tell stories, preserve culture, and promote social awareness. My work includes portrait drawings, wildlife paintings, and cultural artworks that celebrate African identity and heritage.
Beyond art, I actively participate in community development initiatives focused on youth empowerment, education, health awareness, and social transformation. I believe that talent gains greater meaning when it is used to serve others and contribute to the wellbeing of society.
I completed my secondary education at Maai-Mahiu Boys' Secondary School in Kenya, where I achieved a KCSE mean grade of B+ (69 out of 84 points) and ranked 2nd out of 174 students.
Throughout my academic journey, I consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, discipline, and personal growth. My success was built on perseverance, effective time management, and a determination to maximize every learning opportunity available to me. These qualities enabled me to perform at a high level academically while actively participating in leadership and community initiatives.
Achieving a top class ranking strengthened my confidence in the value of hard work, resilience, and continuous self-improvement. It also reinforced my desire to pursue higher education and use my knowledge, skills, and experiences to make a meaningful contribution to society. My academic achievements reflect not only strong performance in the classroom but also a commitment to lifelong learning, leadership, and service to others.
Leadership and service have been central to my personal growth. I served as Secretary at Maai-Mahiu Boys' Secondary School, where I developed communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
I have also participated in community initiatives through Nyota Angavu Community Based Organization, Kenya Red Cross Society, Kenya National Outreach Counselling and Training Program, and Nextars Talented Leaders Youth Group. These experiences have allowed me to engage in youth empowerment, community awareness, volunteer service, and leadership development.
