Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre invited the world-renowned theatre master David Glass to teach a Devising Theatre Master Class in Macau from 2017 to 2018. The three-phase master class attracted theatre artists from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, France, and Mainland China. This year, at the age of 65, David is embarking on a "re-connect" journey after the pandemic to visit the theatre groups he has worked with around the world and restart their collaborations with renewed creative energy.
David will hold an intensive Devising Theatre Workshop on 23rd and 24th May in Macau. He will also hold a talk titled "An Unnaturalistic Life" on 22nd May* to share his life story, including his experience as a disciple of those theatre giants in the 1970s, and turned out teaching more than 120,000 people in over 70 countries in the past 40 years. It is a story about life, as well as creation, dreams, struggles, and inspiration. Workshop participants will have reserved seats for the talk for free.
*The talk originally scheduled for 25th May has been rescheduled to 22nd May to accommodate David's schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
