David H. B. Fletcher

I am a fifth year Ph.D candidate in the Economics Department at the University of Miami under the advisement of Salvador Ortigueira and Christopher F. Parmeter.

I received my B.Sc. in Economics & Statistics from the University of the West Indies, Mona in Kingston Jamaica in 2014. I immediately began my doctoral studies at the University of Miami after graduating. I expect to complete my dissertation in May 2019.

My research interests include labor economics, public economics, growth modeling and econometric and statistical methodology. My dissertation examines the retirement decision and the role of macroeconomic factors.

I am currently on the job market and will be available for interviews at the 2019 ASSA meetings in Atlanta.
