I'm Davide Perico, a composer, sound engineer, and producer based near Milan, Italy. With years of experience in the music and audio industry, I specialize in electronic and orchestral compositions for films, video games, and media projects. My work as a lofi and beats producer has been featured in top editorial playlists on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Currently, I'm focused on releasing a series of monthly singles and expanding my label, Chill Italy Music.
My journey in music has been diverse, spanning from working as a Front of House engineer for internationally renowned artists like Yellowjackets, Scott Henderson, and Gary Willis to becoming the Resident FOH Engineer at Live Club, one of Italy’s top live music venues. Over time, my passion led me to game and film soundtracks, with compositions featured in video games such as Zerospace, Darkrise, and The Repair House, as well as films like Darkness Within and The Cobbler’s Wife. My expertise also extends to game sound design, with projects like Tennis Esports (Oculus Quest 2) and Destructure – Among Debris.
I hold a Master in Sound Engineering from AES (Audio Engineering Society) and have a strong background in classical studies. Beyond production and sound design, I play piano, keyboards, bass guitar, and guitar, and I’m highly skilled in Nuendo, Pro Tools, Wwise, FMOD, Maxon Cinema 4D, and the Adobe suite. Over the years, my work has been recognized with multiple awards, including Best Original Score at the Florence Film Awards 2020, as well as honors from the Venice Film Awards, Andromeda Film Festival, and Kosice International Film Festival and many more.
