08/07/2025: With the help of Mei-Ling Wu (RMI), I wrote a Zoom article on RMI website related to the recently accepted IcyAlert project, in which we will aim at improving multi-seasonal forecasts of Arctic sea ice using global climate models, causal methods and machine learning. The project will involve the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI, leader), RMI and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), will start later this year and will end in 2031.
15/04/2025: The Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) published the 2024 European State of the Climate (ESOTC) report. This report describes climate conditions in Europe in 2024, including key extreme events and their impacts, as well as climate policy and action.
26/03/2025: I gave a presentation about ice in polar regions and its link to the ongoing climate change at the Centre Culturel d'Ittre (Belgium). HERE are my slides (in French).
