While enduring a long wait for my SA Visa, I am learning to be content in all circumstances and to rest in God's timing.
God highlighted this as I exited the Visa center and turned onto Worship Street.
This wait did allow for a special visit from Sharissa, my lovely girlfriend, and I have had time to rest and prepare for the upcoming season of relationship and SBS.

DTS finished in early July and I was lucky enough to have 4 free weeks to travel around South Africa.
Thanks to the hospitality of my friends from DTS I got to visit the Western Cape, Durban, Bloemfontein, and Ermelo. There are plenty of stories and memories from each place and it was great to experience some of the real side of South Africa and its culture.
Flying into the beautiful Norfolk - it gets me every time and I love praying over the land on the final stint of my journey.
The kiddies will beat us one day soon...

2 Timothy 2: 3-5
Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. 5 An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
The boys halted proceedings to scan the turnip field for Matti's lost iphone. 🙈
Matti successfully snuck home, albeit through an unforgiving bog or two. Champ!
Manhunt, bbq, volleyball in the sunset, late night bioluminescent swim, prayer, wholesome wrestles, fire-side chats, meteor showers, and an early morning sunrise swim.
Praise the Lord!

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
1 Samuel 30
6 And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

Bless the Lord, for He is good, and has abundantly poured His goodness upon us.
An amazing day celebrating the union of Hollie and Matti.
I shall perform the vows that I have made before the Lord!
Matti and Hollie said "I do"
We responded "We will"
And God resounded "I will"
Psalm 61:8
So will I ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day.
Psalm 56: 10-13
This I know, that God is for me.
In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
I must perform my vows to you, O God;
I will render thank offerings to you.
For you have delivered my soul from death,
yes, my feet from falling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of life.
They'll be good one day girls!
24th - 25th of August
From Nanning to Norfolk; great to get another weekend in with David. We enjoyed the blue skies of Sunday after a wet 'triathlon' on Saturday.
Squat jumps, push-ups, sprints, swims, a cycle and a burst tire to add to our adventure.
India is waiting for you Mr. Mabey - Run well.
Pat Humphrey passed away on ... I had the privilege of seeing Pat in the hospital before she died and was amazed by her clarity of mind that remained with her right up until the end. There is great comfort in death when we know that Jesus has gone before us and prepared a room for us in Heaven. Granny died in peace, and her funeral was a testimony to the salvation that we find in Jesus alone.
It was also profound seeing Mum, Becky, and Hannah representing the family, which made me appreciate how God has designed our family to have strong women at the head of each generation.
