Dave loved glass art since he was a child. He loved the glass in the church windows. Fast forward, and life brought William Zimmerman, a glass blower out of Brooklyn, across his path and Dave blew his first pieces at Urban Glass in Brooklyn. He continued on at Hudson Beach Glass in Beacon, NY. His wife bought him a powder fusing and glass fusing class at Bullseye Glass in Mamaroneck. Before you knew it, he bought his first kiln. He now has three kilns and creates glass projects every day.
Dave has shown his art in Grand Central Terminal as part of the "Arts on the Tracks" show, has held an exhibition at Maryknoll and Mariandale in Ossining, NY. He has pieces on-loan at The Congregational Church of Briarcliff, and on display at Marion Royal Gallery in Beacon, and Lands Gallery in Pawling.
