My name is Thanh Nhan Huynh - David 👋. 

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance and Financial Planning at Griffith Business School, Griffith University, Australia.

My research has been published in leading journals, including the International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Economics Letters, International Review of Economics & Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Finance Research Letters, and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. In recognition of my research contributions, I have received several Best Paper Awards at conferences such as AFAANZ, ACBES, and RSFE, and have secured more than A$60,000 in competitive research funding from Macquarie University, RMIT, Griffith University, and other institutions. I have also presented my work at major international conferences, including AFA, AAA, FMA, EFMA, SFA, FIRN, and SWFA, and currently serve as an ad hoc reviewer for a range of peer-reviewed journals in finance and economics.

  • December 2025: I received the 2025 Early Career Researcher Award 🏅🎉 from the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, Griffith University.

  • December 2025: I served as session chair and presenter at the 2025 Sydney Banking and Financial Stability Conference (SBFC) in Sydney (AU).

  • October 2025: I officially joined Griffith University as a Lecturer in Finance (Level B Academic).

  • February 2025: I officially finished my PhD in Finance at Macquarie University with examiners' recommendations for Vice-Chancellor's Commendation for Thesis Excellence.
