My name is Nhan Huynh (David). I am currently a Sessional Academic at Macquarie Business School and UTS Business School, with extensive experience teaching finance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across institutions in Australia and Vietnam. My research has been published in several ABDC A/A* journals, including the International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Economics Letters, International Review of Economics and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Finance Research Letters, and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. I have presented my work at leading international conferences, including the AFA, AAA, FMA, EFMA, SFA, FIRN, and SWFA. I also serve as an ad-hoc reviewer for a range of peer-reviewed journals in finance and economics.

December 2025 (scheduled): I will present one paper at the 2025 New Zealand Finance Meeting will be held in Queenstown (NZ).
November 2025 (scheduled): I will present one paper at the 2025 FIRN Annual Conference will be held in Perth (WA).
July 2025: One of my papers received a Reject and Resubmit decision at a FT50/UT24/ ABS 4* journal.
June 2025: Two of my papers received Revise and Resubmit (R&R) decisions at ABDC-A*/ABS 4 journals.
May 2025: I will join Griffith University as a Lecturer in Finance (Level B Academic). Contract signed. Starting late 2025.
April 2025: I received three offers from Griffith University (AU), University of Waikato (NZ), and UEH University (VN) as a Level-B Lecturer.
February 2025: I officially finished my PhD in Finance at Macquarie University with recommendations for Vice-Chancellor's Commendation for Thesis Excellence.
January 2025: The first chapter of my PhD thesis is accepted for publication at an ABDC A-ranked journal.
November 2024: I presented the second chapter of my thesis at the 2024 FIRN Annual Meeting held in Port Douglas (QLD).
February 2024: I presented the third chapter of my thesis at the 2024 SWFA held in Las Vegas (US).
July 2023: I presented two papers at the 2024 AFAANZ Conference in Auckland (NZ) and the ACE Conference in Adelaide (SA).
November 2023: I presented the third chapter of my thesis at the 2023 FIRN Annual Meeting held in Hobart (TAS).
