David Bennett Galloway III was a big part of the team that won the state championship in his last year of high school football. Galloway is a football player who learned early on how important it was to work hard. He is determined to attend college after high school and knows it will take much work and self-control. Galloway does a lot of strength training and is very careful about what he eats to play football at his best. As a running back, he knows how important it is to have a good mix of speed, agility, and balance, and he works very hard to improve these skills. Galloway has always been a person who has been self-driven and determined. He started doing sports when he was young, and he soon realized that these activities gave him chances to learn skills that helped him in other parts of his life. Through sports, Galloway learned to stick with things even when they were hard and stay true to himself while contributing to a larger team. In a competitive sport, you have to buy into the team's overall goal and take direction without making a fuss if you want to be on the team. But on the field, players from any team can make quick decisions. Taking the time to think about both the possible outcomes of success and those of failure helped him make good decisions when the stakes were high.
