We received a call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve as Member and Leader Services Missionaries in the Japan Tokyo South Mission

Our Church

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

We will be serving as full time senior missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This church was restored to the earth in the 1800's along with all of the doctrine, keys, and priesthood authority that existed in Christ's church while he lived here on the earth.

Set Apart

We were set apart as full time missionaries

President Darren Kirkham set us each apart as full time missionaries on Sunday June 1, 2025. Our Bishop, Bishop Jason Barron, was there as well.

Our Assignment

We are called to serve as Member and Leader Service Missionaries

We have been assigned to the Shibuya Young Single Adult Branch located in metropolitan Tokyo, Japan. Our mission call is for 18 months. Our responsbilities will be to assist the branch leadership in teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to the members and other missionaries.

Provo MTC

We will be doing Preach My Gospel Training from June 2-6 2025

Travel to Japan

We will fly from SLC to Tokyo Haneda on June 9, 2025

Travel

We will be able to travel in Japan from time to time.

When we are able to travel we will post pictures of our adventures so that all can share our experience

Language

David learned Japanese during his first mission.

Many of the members of our unit are return missionaries and will speak some English.

YSA

Young Single Adults in Japan

The Young Single Adult groups in our church are for members between the ages of 18 and 35 who are unmarried. We are excited to be able to work with these young members.
