Check Off: Privacy Policy
I (Dave O'Brien) built the Check Off app. It's provided to you at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page explains my policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use my app.
Short version
All of the data used by this app is stored on your Android device.
If you use the backup/restore feature, the app will ask your permission to store your lists in a specific "Check Off backup" folder in your Google Drive. The app cannot access any other folders in your Google Drive.
Your app data is only visible to you. I can't see it, and no one else can see it (except maybe Google, because they host the whole ecosystem, but they have their own privacy rules).
Information Collection and Use
The app uses third-party code libraries, but as far as I know, they do not collect any information about you.
The only third-party services that may collect information about you are Google's services for Google Drive (if you use the backup/restore feature) and Google Play.
Cookies
My app doesn't use cookies.
Service providers
My app doesn't use any service providers other than Google.
Changes to this privacy policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
