Davakosh ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Davakosh mobile application.
1. Information We Collect We collect: Phone number (for OTP login), Medicine names and expiry dates, Family member names, Camera access (for scanning only — images never uploaded), Basic device information.
2. How We Use Your Information To authenticate your account, store your medicine inventory, send expiry alert notifications, generate monthly medicine reports, and improve app performance.
3. Data Storage & Security Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption. Each user's data is isolated and protected by Firebase Security Rules. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
4. Camera Permission Camera is used solely to scan medicine packaging for expiry dates using on-device OCR. Images are never uploaded to our servers.
5. Payments DavaKosh Pro subscriptions are processed through Razorpay. We never store your payment card details.
6. Data Retention Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us — all data will be removed within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy DavaKosh is not intended for children under 13.
8. Third-Party Services Google Firebase, Google ML Kit, Razorpay.
9. Your Rights Access, correct, delete your data or withdraw notification consent at any time.
