We are a group of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School students who founded the youth organization DATUM. The advocacy aims to lessen and reduce the impact of the digital divide within our culture. By providing information and instruction through the means of our Facebook and Instagram social media accounts, DATUM is meant to strengthen the connection between netizens with sufficient resources and technology with those who do not. With the group’s efforts to research and investigate the Digital Divide as a factor in the health, educational, and sociopolitical aspects of our society today, it is the objective of the advocacy to propose solutions that are clear, specific, and significant in its effects to discover and change the online landscape we have now.
