A NOTE OF GRATITUDE! ✨
Dr. Tony Diana, we still remember the day we sent a mail your way containing six ideas for our project, including cooking chatbot, national parks chatbots and a few more. When you enhanced our idea of UMBC chatbot and asked us if we could work on a chatbot to help students apply to the Data Science program at the university, frankly, we felt why you directed us this way, but not towards other interesting bots like cooking. But, this whole process of the bot exclusively for the Data Science program, trust us, we have never learnt this much and never enjoyed working on a final project this much. Projects were always too much work and sometimes felt apathetic too. This one is a totally different one. Having begun to work on something all of us know about - the application process, putting in answers for all the questions we had during applying brought us so much joy. Today, after having completed the Natural Language Processing course and the project too, we feel we are so much ahead of all the job applicants for the NLP sector. Like you always quote, “WE ARE READY FOR THE INDUSTRY! 💪”. We still recall the first class where we introduced ourselves and told you why we were at the NLP class. Now, we can confidently say, we got all that we wanted out of this class. Our gratitude to you for all you have done, which we will never forget. We truly appreciate you and your time you spent helping us on many occasions. Thank you very much for the course. We enjoyed every minute of your lecture as well as your marvelous sense of humor. Merci beaucoup! 🙏
We wish we had an option to work on our Capstone under your supervision. :(
Dr. Ergun Simsek, we sincerely appreciate you for making time and coming over to the class today. We have been listening to our professor, and he speaks so high of you. On a personal note, we all know how much you value every single email of hundreds of Data Science students. We know how patiently you reply to all of those emails. We just hope this bot, if integrated into our Data Science website will be of some help to you and the Data Science department. We thank you so much for providing us with this opportunity tonight. Thank you again!
