Participants split into teams to work through a watermarking problem and then present their findings to a panel of judges. If you’re passionate about tackling the most interesting and critical challenges that impact global markets, a Datathon is for you.

You will participate one of the following tools developed by the DataBri-X project based on your decision.
Watermarking Tool: Watermarking allows an entity to prove its ownership of a certain dataset, shared or exchanged, thus safeguarding data ownership and providing accountability. To this end, the tool watermarks a given dataset by embedding a secret, called watermarking secret, producing a watermarked version of the original datasets by running a watermark generating algorithm. Later, to prove ownership of the (suspected) dataset (or identification of the infringer), the tool computes the watermarking detection algorithm based on the same watermarking secret(s).

To ensure a productive and engaging experience for all participants, it is essential that you come prepared with Python and Google Colab.
