この発表ができることを大変うれしく思います。#data_noodle は #GamesNightViz とコラボレーションすることになりました！

ゲームとヌードルのコラボレーション？どうやって？と皆さん思うでしょう。でも、NoodleとDataを結びつけることが最初はどれだけ想像できなかったかを思い出してみてください。DataNoodle は仕事ではなく、誰でも好きな麺類という文化を紹介することで多くの人々をつなげられるという信念から始まりました。その精神は今も生きています。だから、#GamesNightViz からコラボレーションのオファーを受けたとき、私はすぐに「こんなに違うもの同士がコラボレーションできそうにないからこそ、コラボレーションすべきだ」と思いました。私たちに声をかけてくれたルイも同じように感じていたに違いありません。

では、いったい何をコラボレーションするのでしょうか？具体的には、ゲームや食べ物に関するデータを使用したり作成したりしてTableauで視覚化することです。

#GamesNightViz は優秀なビジュアライゼーションを3つ選び、オリジナルTシャツを贈呈する予定です。

data_noodle はこの活動に参加し、日本のTableauユーザーへの呼びかけを行います。そして独自データを準備しています。


麺類という日常にありふれたもの、ゲームという誰しも子供のころにプレイしたことのあるもの。実はそれらは個人の人生の中で交差しているかもしれません。少し昔を思い出してコラボレーションの種を見つけてみて下さい。

I'm happy to make this announcement. #data_noodle will be collaborating with #GamesNightViz!

 Games and noodles collaborating? How does that work? That's what everyone will think. But then we'll remember how unimaginable it was at first to connect noodles and data. DataNoodle started not as a job but as a belief that featuring food culture could connect many DATA people. That spirit lives on. So when I received the offer to collaborate from #GamesNightViz, I immediately thought, "They are so different, they seem unlikely to collaborate, which is precisely why they should." I'm sure Louis, who reached out to us, felt the same. 

So, what exactly are we collaborating on? 

Specifically, we'll be using or creating data related to games and food and visualizing it in Tableau. 

#GamesNightViz plans to select three outstanding visualizations and award original design collaboration T-shirts. 

#data_noodle will participate in this activity. Additionally, we will intensify our call to create data for the World Noodle Map during the collaboration period.
