Our paper, titled "Trust-aware Caching-constrained Tasks Offloading in Multi-Access Edge Computing," has been accepted for publication in Future Generation Computer Systems [IF: 6.1, Q1].

The paper is written in collaboration with Prof. Fei Hao's research team from Shaanxi Normal University, China.

Future Generation Computer Systems is a Q1 journal published by Elsevier and is ranked within the top 9.9% in the Computer Science, Theory & Methods field.

Our paper "Pose-Based Fall Detection in Industrial Settings Using YOLO" has received the Best Paper Award at the 2025 Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS) Spring Conference. 

The paper is written by Azimjon Akhmatov, who is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in our lab.

We are proud to share that Dr. Jeong-Hun Kim, a graduate of our lab, has been appointed a tenure-track professor at Kunsan National University, Korea. 

Dr. Kim completed his master’s and Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Aziz Nasridinov, making contributions to the fields of unsupervised machine learning and multimodal AI. 

Kunsan National University is a public university located in Gunsan, in western South Korea.

Our paper, "Three-Dimensional Atrous Inception Module for Crowd Behavior Classification," has been accepted for publication in Nature's Scientific Reports [IF: 3.8, Q1]. 

This work was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Jong-Hyeok Choi (AICON Company) and Prof. Yoo-Sung Kim (Inha University, Korea). 

Scientific Reports is a Q1 journal published by Springer Nature and is ranked within the top 18% in the Multidisciplinary Sciences field.

Our paper, "Solar Power Generation Forecasting via Multimodal Feature Fusion," has been accepted to the Student Abstract Program at AAAI 2024 (top tier conference in the field of AI). 

In addition, the paper was among the Top 25 best student papers and selected as a finalist for the 3-minute oral presentation contest. 

The paper was written by Master's degree student Eul Ka and supervised by Dr. Jeong-Hun Kim and Professor Aziz Nasridinov.

Our paper, titled "A Versatile Strategy for Hybridizing Small Experimental and Large Simulation Data: A Case for the Ceramic Tape-Casting Process," has been accepted for publication in Materials & Design [IF: 8.4, Q1].

This work was authored by Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Jeong-Hun Kim, in collaboration with researchers from the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology and Ajou University, Korea.

Materials & Design is a Q1 journal published by Elsevier and is ranked within the top 12% in the Multidisciplinary Materials Science field.

Our paper, titled "Cluster-Guided Temporal Modeling for Action Recognition," has been accepted for publication in International Journal of Multimedia Information Retrieval (IF: 5.6 Q1).

The paper was written by Post-Doctoral Researcher Dr. Jeong-Hun Kim in collaboration with Prof. Fei Hao (Shaanxi Normal University, China) and Prof. Carson Kai-Sang Leung (University of Manitoba, Canada).

International Journal of Multimedia Information Retrieval is a Q1 journal published by Springer and ranked within the top 12% in the Computer Science and Software Engineering fields.

Our paper, titled "Exploring Invariance of Concept Stability for Attribute Reduction in Three-way Concept Lattice," has been accepted for publication in Soft Computing (IF: 3.732, Q2).

The paper is written in collaboration with Prof. Fei Hao's research team from Shaanxi Normal University, China.

Soft Computing is a Q2 journal published by Springer and ranked within the top 38% in the Computer Science and Interdisciplinary Applications fields.

Our paper "Incremental Density-based Clustering with Grid Partitioning" has been accepted to the Student Abstract Program at AAAI 2023 (h5 index: 188). 

The paper is written by Ph.D. students Jeong-Hun Kim and Tserenpurev Chuluunsaikhan, under the supervision of Dr. Jong-Hyeok Choi and Professor Aziz Nasridinov. 

The conferences will be held in Washington, D.C., USA, from February 7 to 14, 2023.

A consortium, which includes our lab, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and A&G, was selected to participate in the Korea-Europe international joint research project. 

The project titled "AI-Powered Human-Centered Robot Interactions for Smart Manufacturing" will last for two years (2023.01 - 2024.12)

The first paper, titled "Optimization of Dominance Testing in Skyline Queries Using Decision Trees," was written by Post-Doctoral Researcher Dr. Jong-Hyeok Choi in collaboration with Prof. Fei Hao (University of Exeter, UK). 

The second paper titled "KNN-SC: Novel Spectral Clustering Algorithm Using k-nearest Neighbors" is written by PhD course student Jeong-Hun Kim in collaboration with Prof. Carson Kai-Sang Leung (University of Manitoba, Canada).
