Dashawn BillBill Johnson is an author, educator, and advocate for children's literacy. His journey as a writer began in 2020, during the transition to remote learning, when he recognized a need for engaging and accessible educational materials for kids. Motivated by a desire to help and educate, Dashawn set out to fill that gap with his own creative works.

Dashawn is the author of 10 published children's books, including his debut title I Love School and his most recent chapter book, Five Ways for Kids to Grow. His other beloved books include Grandma's House, When I Grow Up, Embracing Our Features, and SuperBill. His latest works include SuperBill Goes to Yellowstone Park, SuperVille, SuperBill's Coloring Book, SuperBill and the Super Moms, and SuperBill's Chess Adventure. These releases continue the SuperBill series, bringing exciting and educational adventures to young readers.

With a goal of reaching millions of children through literature, Dashawn is dedicated to creating stories that are fun, engaging, and inspiring. He has had the honor of speaking to students and reading his books in classrooms across the country and looks forward to continuing to positively impact the lives of children nationwide.

Dashawn also leads the Chess With Kids program, where he teaches children valuable skills such as strategy, focus, and critical thinking. In addition, he recently released the song SuperBill, which complements the themes and characters from his popular book series.
