Welcome to my personal page on our classroom website. On this page you will get the opportunity to learn a little bit more about me. I look forward to learning more about each of you!

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to 1st Grade! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year.

I would like to introduce myself and express just how excited I am to be working with your child this year!

My name is Melia Andrulonis. I obtained my bachelor's in both  Early Childhood Education (PK - 4) and Special Education (PK - 8) at Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA  in Spring 2020. I have also obtained my Master's in Reading. This is my sixth year teaching.

Additionally, I earned a National Endorsement in STEM. While in college, I was a member of the university swim team where I was elected captain and swam for four years as a Division II athlete. Now retired, I am a coach for the DuBois Dolphins swim team.

When I am not teaching, I love to travel! So far, I have traveled to ten countries. Most recently, I traveled to Greece this past July. I also enjoy reading, and read 50 books last year. I love vacationing at the beach or just spending time at home hanging out with my two cats, Toulouse and Luna.

I am looking forward to teaching and learning with your child this school year!

If you have any questions or concerns, if you would like to schedule a conference, or volunteer to help out, you can contact me at mandrulonis@dubois.school. I check my email and our Class Dojo before and after school.

Once again, welcome to 1st grade. Let’s work together to make this the best year ever!

Sincerely,

Miss. Melia Andrulonis
