This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
Bubblewick does not require an account, does not ask You for Your name or any other personal detail, and We operate no servers of Our own. The only information that leaves Your device is the advertising information and the Google Play Games Services information described below, both of which are collected by Google rather than by Us.
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Application refers to Bubblewick, the software program provided by the Company.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Privacy Policy) refers to Bubblewick.
Country refers to: South Africa
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a cell phone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data (or "Personal Information") is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. For the Service, the only Service Provider is Google, which supplies advertising, processes purchases, and operates Google Play Games Services.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
Personal Data
We do not ask You for, and do not collect, personally identifiable information such as Your name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. The Service has no registration and no user account of Our own. The Application does offer optional sign-in to Google Play Games Services, described below; that account is Yours with Google, not with Us, and the game is fully playable without it.
Information stored only on Your Device
The Application saves a small settings file on Your Device. This file never leaves Your Device, is not transmitted to Us or to anyone else, and We cannot access it. It contains:
The year of birth You enter when You first open the Application. This is used for one purpose only: to determine whether advertising shown to You must be non-personalised, as described under "Children's Privacy" below. It is not used to identify You and is not transmitted anywhere.
Your sound on or off preference.
Whether You have purchased the removal of advertising.
Uninstalling the Application deletes this file and everything in it.
Usage Data collected through advertising
The Application displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To select and measure those advertisements, the Google Mobile Ads software development kit collects and processes information from Your Device. This may include Your Device's advertising identifier, Your IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), Your mobile operating system and device type, other unique device identifiers and diagnostic data, and how You interact with the advertisements shown.
We do not receive, store or have access to this information. It is collected by Google and handled under Google's own policies:

Google Play Games Services
The Application offers leaderboards and achievements through Google Play Games Services. Using them is entirely optional. The game is complete, and plays identically, whether You sign in or not, and nothing in the Application is locked behind signing in.
If You are signed in to Google Play Games on Your Device, Your play is associated with Your Google Play Games profile. In that case the Application sends to Google Your score and the level You reached, at the end of each level and at the end of each game, together with a record of which achievements You have unlocked. Google may make Your Play Games display name and avatar, Your ranking and Your achievements visible to other players of the Application on the leaderboard and achievement screens, as it does for every game that uses the service.
We do not receive, store or have access to Your Google account details, and We never see Your email address. This information is collected and held by Google under the policies linked above and under Google's own Play Games Services terms.
You may decline sign-in, or sign out later, from the Play Games application on Your Device. Declining has no effect on the game.
The Company may use the information described above for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our Service, including remembering Your settings between sessions.
To display advertising, which funds the free version of the Service, and to determine whether that advertising must be non-personalised.
To provide purchases, including recognising that You have paid to remove advertising so that it is not shown to You again.
To provide leaderboards and achievements, if You are signed in to Google Play Games Services, by submitting Your score and the level You reached and recording the achievements You unlock.
We do not use Your information for marketing, do not build profiles about You, and do not contact You. We do not sell Your Personal Data.
We may share information in the following situations:
With Google: as described above, for the purpose of serving advertising, processing purchases, and operating Google Play Games Services leaderboards and achievements if You are signed in.
For legal reasons: where We are required to do so by law, as described under "Disclosure of Your Personal Data" below.
You can limit or reset advertising personalisation at any time from Your Device, under Settings → Google → Ads, where You may also delete or reset Your advertising identifier.
You may also remove advertising from the Application entirely by making the in-application purchase offered for that purpose.
Consent in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland
If You are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Application presents a consent message, provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, before advertising is requested. Your choice is recorded by Google and determines whether the advertising shown to You is personalised.
You may withdraw or change Your consent at any time. Open the Application, pause the game or return to the title screen, and select Privacy options. This reopens the consent form, where You can change Your choice. The option is shown only to users in regions where consent applies.
If You choose to purchase the removal of advertising, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not see, receive or store Your payment card details or billing information. Google confirms to the Application only whether the purchase exists, so that advertising can be switched off.
We operate no servers and hold no database of users, so We retain no Personal Data ourselves.
Information stored on Your Device (year of birth, sound preference, purchase status) is retained on Your Device until You uninstall the Application or clear its data, at which point it is deleted.
Advertising information is retained by Google in accordance with Google's own retention practices, described in the Google Privacy Policy linked above. We have no control over those periods.
Google Play Games Services information (Your scores, the levels You reached and the achievements You unlocked) is retained by Google against Your Play Games profile for as long as that profile exists, under Google's own retention practices. We have no control over those periods.
Information collected by Google through the Application may be processed on servers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ from those of Your jurisdiction. Those transfers are governed by Google's privacy policy and the safeguards Google applies.
Because We hold no Personal Data about You, there is nothing held by Us for You to request the deletion of.
You may delete the information stored on Your Device at any time by uninstalling the Application, or by clearing the Application's data from Your Device settings.
To delete or reset the advertising identifier held by Google, use Settings → Google → Ads on Your Device. To exercise data rights against Google in respect of advertising data, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
To delete what is held against Your Google Play Games profile for this game, open the Play Games application on Your Device, go to Your profile settings, and use the option to delete Your Play Games data for an individual game. That deletion is performed by Google and does not require Us.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
Other legal requirements
The Company may disclose Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
Comply with a legal obligation
Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public
Protect against legal liability
The security of Your information is important to Us. Because the Application stores its settings only on Your Device and We operate no servers, the principal protection for that information is the security of Your own Device. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Bubblewick is suitable for a general audience, including children, and participates in the Google Play Families programme.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. The Application asks for no name, no email address and no other identifying detail from any user, of any age.
When You first open the Application, it asks for Your year of birth. This is stored only on Your Device and is never transmitted to Us or to anyone else. Its sole purpose is advertising: if the answer indicates that the player is under 13 years of age, the Application instructs the advertising software development kit to treat every advertising request as child-directed and not to use personalised advertising. The Application applies the same treatment if the question has not been answered.
Google Play Games Services sign-in is controlled by Google, not by Us. Whether a child's Google account may use Play Games, and what that account shares, is governed by Google's own rules and by any Family Link supervision a parent has set on it. The Application never requires sign-in, and every leaderboard and achievement is optional.
The game itself is identical for every player regardless of the answer given.

Advertisements shown in the Application may link to websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on such an advertisement, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
