We started seriously collecting LEGO more than 6 years ago after we got back from ALASKA. It is one thing that a family with five sons can talk about and work together to build. We stared out with a beautiful Christmas Village Tradition. Every year we all get together to build our village. We spend days staging the village homes and minifigs in meticulous scenes! We found it as a great way to come together as a family. We even scheduled days that each child can move the minifigs into their own story (because you can't just make a LEGO scene and leave it alone!! Right?! You have to play with it-- they are toys after all :)

Of course the collecting didn't stop there! We have put together countless other collections! We have started a Halloween Collection with Hidden Side, Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Ninjago, and so much more.

We found that we had lots of pieces for these collections and we only needed one or two more to complete the whole set. So we began buying from Bricklink.com. What we didn't expect, however, was to find a whole community of brick builders who love, build, collect, buy, and sell LEGO for their own collections and Master Builds! On top of that we found that Bricklink.com provided us with a way to keep track of our brick inventory! So we would know where the piece is, and how many! Once we started uploading our inventory people were eager to buy from us to complete their own sets!

Since then, our brick collection has expended so much that we had to move it out of our home! (Seriously! it was taking over every closet and living space!) We are now in a warehouse and still putting collections together while selling our inventory to other Bricklink brick lovers!
