About me

I'm an evolutionary anthropologist and science communicator. I've worked in natural history museums, excavated and prepared fossils, and written about human evolution for Massive Science and PBS Eons. I currently teach in the Anthropology and English Departments at Rutgers University, as well as develop content for and manage the social media accounts of the Center for Human Evolutionary Studies.

I received a BS in Anthropology (with a minor in Paleontology) from the University of Michigan in 2009 and a PhD in Anthropology from Rutgers University in 2016.
