About me

I am a PhD candidate in Economics and Management at the University of Verona (Italy), expected to graduate no later than September 2024 

My research agenda addresses topics in a variety of  applied areas including: international trade and development economics, environmental and energy economics, urban and regional economics, climate change , political economy, and policy impact evaluations.

I am currently working on my job market paper (JMP) aimed at evaluating the linkages between public financed investments in green projects and industrial technological transition to climate neutrality, and its impacts on society’s well-being in the context of sustainable development. During the course of my doctoral studies, I was previleged to spend visiting research periods at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI), Hamburg (Germany) and the  Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE),  in Marseille, (France). As part of a continued active engagement and collaborative research activities with other scholars and researchers.
