We welcome applications from independent artists, makers, designers, vintage curators, and thoughtful small brands whose work aligns with the vibes + values of the space. We are especially drawn to:

Slow-made or small-batch work / Artistic and emotionally-led creations / Romantic, whimsical, nostalgic, strange, story-rich pieces /
Reclaimed, reworked, vintage, sustainable, or intentionally sourced goods / Products created with care + individuality.

STOCKING TERMS ♡

There is currently no upfront fee or monthly rental fee to stock at Darling's Boutique. Instead, we operate on a simple 20% commission basis, meaning we only earn when your work sells. 

This model has been created intentionally to reduce barriers to access for independent artists and small brands ♡ . We simply ask for a minimum stocking commitment of 2 months. 

We understand this is an unusually generous offer for curated retail shelf space, particularly within a city-centre location. As Darling's grows, these terms may evolve in the future. Any changes will always be communicated with a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice.

Sellers will receive:
— monthly sales and stock updates
— monthly payouts for sold items, minus the 20% commission retained by Darling's.

We recommend you price the items you stock with us with the 20% commission in mind - for example, with a 20% markup -  though final pricing decisions remain entirely up to you.

All stock must be clearly labelled with:
— item prices
— your seller initials or business name
This helps us accurately track sales and manage and track stock within the space ♡

Please note:

• Due to limited space, we may not be able to accept every application immediately. However, we strongly encourage artists and brands to still apply, as we expect Darling's to continue evolving with future opportunities, rotating spaces, pop-up events, and expanding collections.
  ♡ We love discovering new creatives and are building a network of aligned artists, makers, and independent brands for future opportunities with Darling's.

•  Display arrangements will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, based on the size and space available in the shop. We will always endeavour to showcase your wonderful products in the most romantic way ❤️‍🔥.

• Stall fee: Sliding scale (£15 - £30)

•  If your trader application is accepted for pop-up events, we will send an email confirmation with a payment link to secure your stall with your desired contribution.

• Tables are available if requested in advance (no extra fee xx)

• Table sizes approx 6x2ft

• Trader set-up will typically be from 9 am to be completed by 11 am, unless stated otherwise.

• Pop-Up market trade hours / open to public - 11 am - 5 pm

• Traders pack down by 6 pm

... I mean, we’re especially drawn to work that feels intentional, artistic, romantic, nostalgic, sustainable, handcrafted, emotionally-led, or story-rich. That's all of us, right?

What we're not doing is judging based on how many instagram followers you have, how much your branding fits a certain 'aesthetic' or how perfectly manicured pop-up stalls look. All cool things, yes. But not the be-all or end-all, in our humble opinion, anyway.

• Located in the center of town, close to bus, train, and car transport routes. Nearby paid parking options are available (we recommend you plan parking for ease)

• By train: 10-minute walk from the Train station

• By Bus: 10-minute walk from Victoria Bus Station

• Can I share a stall?

• Is there parking? 

There is no on-site parking, though there are many paid car park options nearby. Refer to the 'Parking Options' section above for details.

• Do I need PLI insurance?

PLI is not essential for the shop, workshops or pop-ups, though we do encourage traders to have their own cover where possible. 

• Do you provide tables?
  Yes, if requested in advance, no extra cost. Please drop us a message to confirm - email, or instagram dm (@darlingsboutique)

• Can I bring extra rails?
  Due to space requirements, this can be confirmed on a case-by-case basis. Please drop us a message to confirm - email, or instagram dm (@darlingsboutique)

• Are food vendors allowed?

YES! We would love food vendors of small bakes/sundries to apply—for example, cookies, pastries, and patties. [Unfortunately, we don't have the facilities to accommodate other types of food vendors]

• Is electricity available?
  Yes, electrical outlets will be available in specific areas. 

• What happens if I cancel?
  As a small independent initiative, we’re currently unable to offer refunds for cancellations. We really appreciate as much notice as possible if your plans change.
