My name is Ashley Darling. I am a junior in college studying elementary education with a minor in K-8 math teaching. I love teaching and working with children. My other passion is photography. I have lived in Decorah Iowa for all of my life.
I am based out of Decorah Iowa, but am also going to school in Cedar Falls. I am also willing to travel to your location to capture the special memories.

How I got started in Photography
When I was in 5th grade I joined 4-H to show my dog, most people in 4-H take pictures as an exhibit at the fair. So, I decided that I would as well, I was at my cousin's graduation party at a park and used my mom's small camera. I just took the photo after we got it on the computer I decided to enter it as an exhibit at the fair. At the county fair it was an alternate state fair exhibit. The next year I wanted to do better so I began researching what makes a good photo. From that point on I have been in love with taking pictures. I am an all self taught photographer. I look forward to capturing your special moment.
