New members will be welcomed as trials until 5:00pm PST.
We will host an ice breaker event/game night to introduce our trials to our members.
The trial period will last a consecutive 2 weeks from their join date.
On the 2 week mark (Saturday) we will host a graduation event for all passing trials becoming members.
What is the purpose of the "trial period?"
The trial period lasts for 2 weeks, and gives us a chance to gage your activity level, dressage proficiency, and overall vibe to ensure you will be a good fit long term. This is useful time for our high ranks to give you extra support in learning our club protocols and expectations, so you don't feel left behind.
What is the difference between DW and DWL?
Dark Water is an intermediate to elite dressage club with a competition team, while DWL is a secondary relaxed hangout club.
Are DWL members allowed to participate in DW dressage?
Yes, DWL members are allowed to attend usual practices alongside DW members. They are not allowed to participate in our competition team.
How are DW and DWL connected?
Both divisions are still under the Dark Water umbrella and share closed/open servers. Regardless of which division you participate in (dressage or hangout) we are considered a collective unit, and will attend open events as one. In-club events such as training, movie/game nights are also available for all members, but attendance requirements differ.Β
How often are applications opened?
At the beginning of every month, for one week.
Do you allow any exceptions to your requirements?
No, since our requirements are light, we are firm. If you do not meet them, you will not be accepted.
Was my application denied?
If you did not receive an acceptance letter, it is safe to say your application was denied. You are always welcome to try again next time! We do not archive denied applications, so please do not reach out expecting us to give you a reason as to why your application was denied. It is likely due to: unmet requirements, lack of detail/information, incomplete answers, or not what we are looking for.
You made it to the end, now all that's left is submitting your application. Good luck!
Make sure you join our Open Server.
