After declaring war on the Asgardians, Norman Osborn has the Dark Avengers and those in The Initiative prepare for the Siege of Asgard.[18] Norman considers The Sentry, specifically his dark side, known as The Void, his secret weapon.[19]

In flashback, it is told how Robert Reynolds received his vast powers from experimental drugs, using his might as the Sentry to live the life of a superhero, while his darker emotions manifested as the Void. Osborn has manipulated Reynolds into allowing the Void to take over, to do Osborn's murderous bidding. Osborn has somehow recreated the addictive serum that gave Reynolds his powers, making him dependent on Osborn and his approval. Meanwhile, Reynolds's wife Lindy has been a virtual prisoner in the Sentry's Watchtower, has even attempted to kill him, and begs Reynolds to either kill her or let her go. Reynolds's warring personalities, however, have stalemated. The Sentry even attempts suicide, flying into the heart of the sun, but such is his invulnerability that it doesn't work. He tires of struggling against the Void. Norman orders Bullseye to kill Lindy, blaming her for Sentry's uncertainty and weakness.[20] When an emergency evacuation occurs, Bullseye takes Lindy on a helicopter, antagonizes her cruelly, then strangles her to death and dumps her body into the ocean. When Sentry arrives looking for Lindy, Bullseye claims that she committed suicide, out of fear of Reynolds, by jumping out of the helicopter in the countryside. Sentry leaves to look for her body. From this point on, it could be said that the murderous Void was in full control of Reynolds and his unprecedented power.[21]

The thing is,that i read that drain health is not good as the heals of the paladin for return back some hp,both pve and pvp. Is the dark avenger drain health nerfed from the C4 till now in classic??? I never tryed it,i always being a paladin, but that was years ago. Now i want to try the dark avenger but i do not want to do a wrong choice.

The question is,can i get good health points from drain health once i reach 40??? I find a guy who give me a clan, there is an evas templar in,he says that evas templar is the best tank in terms of tanking and protect, more than paladin. Dark avenger can tank too i say to him. So,i wont regret if i change to dark avenger???

PVE (DA) If your party is only DA and Warcryer you will have pretty good DPS and actually be able to level in field type leveling spots and if you spam health pots maybe Alligator Island and Cruma. The dark panther is great for leveling with. I never use the lifesteal or corpse life drain when leveling with DA. In terms of PVE Healing, it's my opinion that shield stun is much more effective (if your target is stunned it's not dealing damage to you so in effect that is a form of healing).

PVP PA the skill thats sought out comes with pally level 80, but again the the grind will be huge (unless you roll some dd supports and have yourself a little party going. Pally hill (in my experience don't help much in pvp. The PVP players out there will just melt your face.

But maybe for pvp,the dark avenger is better,if the things have not changed,i perma stun nukers if they have not majestic set. Also i have agression for atract. In C4 there was no shackle,so the nukers run,i was stopped playing my paladin at the end of C4. Now i returned.

I already tryed the paladin, but that was ages ago. I always liked the role of a holy knight, but the people do not want to know anything about teamwork,so before think about others,i must think about me,so i choose the dark avenger.

The question here is about drain health at higher levels,if is as good as divine blessing of the paladin. In C4,dark avengers eat paladins for breakfast, between other classes. The drain was strong and the divine blessing was half bad. Of course,i am talking about a paladin in an illegal server and i had no idea that this server was mage wise. It was my first character in the lineage 2 history, but still i had skills for kill nukers with help.

Fans have recently been introduced to a few different rosters of Avengers with multiversal series like Avengers Forever that helped set up the Avengers Assemble event. Most versions of the Avengers across the multiverse are heroes, but there are also quite a few dark versions of the Avengers that have appeared in the comics as well.

A multiversal team of heroes known as the Exiles traveled to different realities to repair dark and broken timelines. On Earth-3931, the Avengers had been secretly corrupted by a vampiric Captain America after the evil Baron Blood turned the Sentinel of Liberty.

Age of X rewrote the Avengers into a mutant-hunting task force for the government. Captain America led one of the darkest versions of Iron Man known as Steel Corpse, along with assassins like Jessica Drew/Redback and former heroes like Ghost Rider and the Hulk. Invisible Woman was also an Avenger, though she turned on the team to protect the mutant resistance.

Hydra Supreme reprogrammed Vision and used the dark Elder God Chthon to possess Scarlet Witch. He also manipulated Deadpool into joining villains like Doctor Octopus, Taskmaster, and Black Ant on his powerful roster of the Avengers. Hydra Supreme's Avengers disbanded after the Resistance freed them from the evil Rogers' control and machinations.

Torn between his heroic Sentry side and his villainous Void persona, the Sentry has demonstrated his power time and again. Gaining his powers from a dark version of the Super Soldier Serum, the Sentry was granted powers that were equal to "a million exploding suns." It was even hinted that Sentry has a connection to divine power, and can manipulate the world on a molecular level - often subconsciously forcing his greatest nightmares and desires to come true.

I raised an eyebrow about the Rocketeer too. He seems to be a real curveball compared to the others on this list, and disagree that he's a future-tech Zorro.

Especially when one considers the pulp and serial origins that comprise much of the character, Rocketeer seems to fall into more of a "superspy" or "unlikely hero" (Spider-Man-esque) archetype. The motivation and methods aren't even close to that of the standard "dark avenger" tropes.

The Sentry is easily the most powerful member of the Dark Avengers, but it's impossible to know which version the team is going to get. Gaining powers through a dark version of the Super Soldier Serum, Sentry is an unpredictable force who is either heroic as Sentry or villainous as Void.

He wears a full set of black armor. It is styled aggressively with many sharp edges. The armor has a glowing purple gem in the center of it's chest. The armor is accented in purple/grey metallic edges around the pauldrons, the hand guards of his gauntlets, and the toe covers of his boots. His helmet has two long bladed features that run along the side of his face and nearly meet above his head in points. The Dark avenger's eyes are now now hidden in the shade of the helm. He wears a dark purple cape with wide neck collar, and has a long waist sash that hangs at the front of his waist. This sash is now a dark purple in color and seems to. He weild s a dark bladed long sword that has a steady glow of purple.

We have the big bad villains from the Thunderbolts in Bullseye, Moonstone and Venom. Bendis then adds in two wildcards in Daken and Noh-Varr. And to round things out Bendis adds in two heroes from the Mighty Avengers in Sentry and Ares. This is an unusual blend of characters and I am extremely curious to see how this team gels together. Without a doubt, this mix of characters should lead to some friction and some entertaining situations. This is definitely a very powerful roster that Bendis has assembled. The new roster for the Mighty Avengers could go blow for blow with the Dark Avengers, but the New Avengers would get absolutely decimated by the Dark Avengers. Bendis is going to have to pit the Dark Avengers against some serious heavy hitters in order for the battles to be compelling.Bendis crafts some solid dialogue. The aspect of the dialogue that I enjoyed the most were all of the humorous lines that Bendis served up. Bendis had me chuckling through this entire issue. The nice sense of humor that Bendis brought to this issue was much needed given the dark tone of the title. ff782bc1db
