Dario Caldara

Hi, I am an assistant director in the Division of International Finance at the Federal Reserve Board, where I supervise modelling work and research activities.* I  have direct oversight of the Global Modeling Studies and Trade and Financial Studies sections, two research-oriented teams that work at the frontier of theoretical and empirical macroeconomics. I am currently serving as an associate editor at the Journal of Applied Econometrics. My fields of interest are empirical macro, monetary economics, international economics and geopolitics. My research has been featured by leading policy institutions in high-profile speeches and flagship publications. Coverage of my research by major international newspapers (FAZ, Reuters, WAPO, WSJ) stands as a testament to my commitment to research with a high-impact reach. I hold a Ph.D. from the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University.
