Sinister Rhinoceros
Encounter Deck Contents: Rhino, Standard, Sinister Assault
Perform this setup in place of Campaign Setup (Step 13 in Appendix 2 of Rules Reference 1.6)
Each player discards cards from the top of the encounter deck until a minion from the Sinister Assault modular set is discarded, then puts it into play. Then shuffle the encounter deck discard pile into the encounter deck.
Special Rules:
When a minion from the Sinister Assault modular set is defeated add one rage counter to Rhino.
Rhino gets +1 attack for each rage counter on him. After Rhino makes an attack while he has at least 1 per player rage counters, discard each rage counter.
Optional Difficulty Decrease:
In 1 or 2 player, after setup you may search your collection for a copy of Under Surveillance and attach it to the main scheme.
As an alter-ego action, you may discard 1 card from your hand to remove 1 rage counter from Rhino (limit once per round per player).
Optional Difficulty Increase:
Each minion from the Sinister Assault modular set gains surge. (Recommended for expert mode)

Follow These Instructions For Setup:
Follow Steps 1-9 in Appendix 2 of Rules Reference 1.6. The villain is Klaw.
Create the encounter deck during step 10 of setup. The encounter deck cards include:
Defense Network and The Immortal Klaw (From the Klaw encounter set)
The rest of Klaw's encounter set will not be used for the encounter deck in this scenario.

Masters of evil
Set the Streets of Mayhem modular set aside.
Follow steps 11-12 in Appendix 2 of Rules Reference 1.6
In place of campaign setup follow these steps in order:
Create the Secret lair deck by shuffling together all of the cards from the Streets of Mayhem modular set and placing it near the center of the play area.
Put the top card of the streets of mayhem deck into play.
Find the Panic in The Streets side scheme and put it into play. (Expert mode only)
Each player searches their collection for Interrogation Room (Justice Support) and puts it into play.

Secret Lair Deck Rules:
The Secret Lair deck has its own discard pile. When the secret lair deck is empty, shuffle the discard pile When a setting environment belonging to the secret lair deck is discarded place it in the secret lair deck discard pile
To Resolve the Surge on the setting environments from the secret lair deck, the first player reveals the top card of the encounter deck. (In standard difficulty ignore surge on the environments)
After a player deals 5 or more damage to the villain with a single attack while a minion is in play, reveal the top card of the Secret Lair deck. The villain cannot take damage from an attack for the remainder of the round.
After The Main Scheme advances, reveal the top card of the Secret Lair deck. After The villain stage advances, reveal the top card of the Secret Lair deck
