Dareechaa (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a social experience to create and share content.
This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1) Information We Collect
• Account Data: Phone number (for sign-in via Firebase Authentication), display name, profile photo (if you add one).
• Content You Share: Photos, videos, captions, comments, and other media you upload.
• Device & App Info (for security and delivery): Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for notifications, App Check attestation (Play Integrity) to protect against abuse, basic app version and timestamps.
• Usage Data: Basic interactions needed to operate core features.
2) How We Use Information
• To provide core features (feed, reels, profile, uploads).
• To send push notifications you opt into.
• To protect our app and users using App Check (Play Integrity).
• To maintain and improve performance and reliability.
3) Data Sharing
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We use Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging) as processors to run the app.
• We may share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
4) Permissions We Request
• Camera: To capture photos/videos for your posts.
• Photos/Media/Files: To select and upload media from your device.
• Notifications: To deliver alerts about activity and updates.
You can change permissions anytime in your device settings.
5) Data Retention & Deletion
• We keep your content and account data while your account is active.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us at [YOUR SUPPORT EMAIL]. We will delete data unless we must retain it by law.
6) Security
• We use transport encryption (HTTPS) and Firebase security rules.
• We use App Check (Play Integrity) to help prevent abuse and unauthorized access.
7) Children’s Privacy
• Dareechaa is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to remove it.
8) Changes
• We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
