Having a bit of a problem with the Harry Potter Collection, first off it was showing deathly hallows part 2 images but playing part 1 of the film. I've sorted this out in meta data manager. Now I have a problem with it not showing the second part at all. The MP4 file is in my root directory for my Movies folder (as are all my other files) but it is just not showing up. I've forced a re-scan of my library, restarted my computer and the MBS but still no luck. I've attached a server log in case that helps anyone pinpoint what's going wrong.

Nothing in the log about part 2 that I saw in a quick search. What is the movie file named, how are your movies organized on the disc and how was your collection created? What client are you using and do you have this problem in the web ui if you are using some other client?

I've found something out - It has been naming all the movies that have two parts differently. The part one version of harry potter when played would play the part two version. Also (& I know it's a bad movie) but the Twilight breaking Dawn, it had breaking dawn part 1 but was playing part two. I've changed the meta data to the correct IMDB number and refreshed but now it's not showing any of the part two versions of both movies even though they're in my collection.

If so, that could easily be your issue. The program is designed to support movies that are split into different files and play them in order. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it had an issue with knowing that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 are two different movies instead of one movie in two parts.

Parents need to know that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, the second-to-last installment in the epic Harry Potter movie saga (all based on the books by J.K. Rowling) is the darkest, most intense yet. It has the highest body count of any Potter film, including the deaths of several recurring characters -- some of which are particularly emotional and upsetting. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), Hermione (Emma Watson), and their friends are bloodied, injured, and cursed. In one startling "jump" scene, Lord Voldemort's (Ralph Fiennes) giant killer snake bursts out of an old woman's body; there's also a particularly disturbing torture scene in which a major character is branded with an insult. Expect lots of longing looks and protective embraces between Ron and Hermione, a passionate snog between Harry and Ginny (Bonnie Wright), and a scene of "ghost" versions of Harry and Hermione tormenting Ron with a sensual kiss (they appear to be nude, and you can see their torsos, but it's quite blurry/misty). Despite the amped-up angst and violence, the characters prove again and again that unconditional friendship, loyalty, and love can survive even the most harrowing of threats. Courage, perseverance, and teamwork remain core themes. To stay in the loop on more movies like this, you can sign up for weekly Family Movie Night emails.

For all its flaws, there is still much to applaud in the final film, at least before the very end. Part 2 needed to feel like an event, and it absolutely did. But it was strange to say goodbye to all of this. The movies played alongside the release of half the book series, and we spent the better part of ten years with these actors, taking the journey next to them. Potter was unique in that regard, as it was in practically every aspect. And with a brand new film at hand, and a new installment on the way in theatre format, it continues to be.

The Wizarding World franchise is still one of the most popular around with the newest movie, Fantastic Beats: The Secrets of Dumbledore recently released. There's been a lot of expansion of the universe in recent years but Harry Potter movies, in particular, tend to retain their popularity over the Fantastic Beasts series.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince may not have been the most faithful adaptation of the book, but it remains one of the middle-earning movies in the series and was an important part of the overall story. Featuring the death of a very important character, The Half-Blood Prince feels like a penultimate pitstop before the final phase of the story.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One is the first part of the two-part epic adaptation of the final book in the Harry Potter series. With Harry, Ron, and Hermione tasked with finding and destroying all of Voldemort's Horcruxes around the country, there are far more duels and pivotal moments than the other Harry Potter movies have. It even shows some of the universe's underappreciated Muggles.

In the movie, this particular part of the book may have been modified to remove the burning, which would cause the scenes following the dragon ride to appear totally out of place. This isn't that surprising since the movies are, on the whole, nonsense and result in a lot of things being unclear.

Warner Brothers studio plans to make JK Rowling's last book in the Harry Potter series into a two-part film with the first chapter opening in 2010, Hollywood media reported on Thursday.

Part one of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will hit the screen in November 2010 and the second will appear in May 2011, Variety reported.

Warner decided to split the story from the 784-page book into two parts as it hopes for continued success at the box office after previous movies generated 4.5 billion dollars worldwide, the industry paper said.

David Yates will return as director, having overseen the fifth film "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix" and the sixth film, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," which is due to be released in November.

Steve Kloves will write the screen adaptation of the seventh and final book of the wildly successful Potter series, having written all previous screenplays except for the "Order of the Phoenix" movie.

The Harry Potter books have sold around 350 million copies worldwide and are translated into 65 different languages, making British author Rowling into a billionaire.

The "Deathly Hallows" book, which came out in July and features Potter and his friends battling his nemesis Voldemort to the death, sold a record 11 million copies in the first 24 hours after its release. be457b7860
