In my bachelor's final thesis I discussed all of the principles governing CFD simulations in detail. As our simulation was transient, and the floater had to move in the rotameter tube, we compared different dynamic mesh algorithms and mentioned the reason behind choosing or not choosing each of them for the simulation. In the following steps, we validated our simulations with experimental data and measured "Meter Factor" and the accuracy of our CFD setup.
Transient Simulation of water boiling and bubble creation with Ansys fluent software
Transient simulation of Cavitation phenomena with Ansys fluent software.
I used IronPython programming language in SpaceClaim software in purpose to design Stirred Mixer which accelerates parameter sweeping and optimizing geometry design.
Simulation with OpenFOAM and visualizing with ParaView
Fluid-Structure Interaction(FSI) simulation using COMSOL Multiphysics
Steady-State Heat ex-changer Simulation with Ansys fluent software
Steady-State Simulation of Methane Combustion with Ansys fluent.
Using Dynamic mesh and 6dof solver and Non-Newtonian fluid model.
VOF with refining mesh was used to simulate oil production.
Summer Internship as CFD Engineer.
My job was to design a Stirred Mixed and Optimize the design with Simulation tools like COMSOL Multiphysics in order to achieve the optimal mixing efficiency.
With App Builder feature of COMSOL and application was developed for user-friendly GUI and design parameters and their correlation with mixing efficiency were studied.
interFOAM solver was used to simulate VOF model. water and air were the two phases. Paraview was used to visualize the results.
