Dapple Keyboard: DIY & Themes (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides keyboard themes, DIY customization, fonts, colors, sounds, emojis, voice typing, and related typing features.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, processed, used, and shared when you use the App.
1. KEYBOARD INPUT PRIVACY
We understand that keyboard input may contain sensitive and private information.
Dapple Keyboard: DIY & Themes does not collect, record, store, upload, sell, or share the text you type through the keyboard.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Messages and emails
• Passwords
• Payment or financial information
• Search queries
• Account information
• Personal conversations
• Other text entered through the keyboard
Keyboard input is processed locally on your device only when necessary to provide typing-related functions.
We do not operate a server designed to collect or store your typed content.
2. PHOTOS AND CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS
The App allows you to select an image or photo from your device and use it as a custom keyboard background.
When you use this feature:
• The App accesses only the image you choose
• The selected image is used to create your custom keyboard theme
• The image is generally stored and processed locally on your device
• We do not upload your selected image to our servers
You can remove or replace a custom image at any time through the App.
Depending on your Android version, the App may use the system photo picker or request permission to access photos and media.
3. VOICE TYPING
The App may provide voice typing or speech-to-text functionality.
When you use voice typing, microphone access may be required. Voice recognition may be handled by your Android device, Google services, or another speech recognition provider installed on your device.
We do not independently store your voice recordings.
Voice data processed by a third-party speech recognition provider is subject to that provider’s own privacy policy and service terms.
4. INFORMATION THAT MAY BE PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY
The App and its third-party service providers may automatically process limited technical and usage information, such as:
• Device model and manufacturer
• Android version
• App version
• Device language
• Approximate region
• IP address
• Advertising identifier
• App installation source
• App launch and session information
• Feature interactions
• Advertisement impressions and clicks
• Crash logs

This information may be used to operate the App, improve stability, measure advertising performance, understand feature usage, prevent fraud, and diagnose technical problems.
This information is not used by us to reconstruct or identify the content you type.
5. ADVERTISING
Dapple Keyboard: DIY & Themes may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other advertising partners.

• Advertisement impressions

• Fraud-prevention signals

Meta or Facebook SDK
Meta services may process app events, device information, advertising identifiers, and campaign-related information for analytics, attribution, and advertising measurement.
AppsFlyer
AppsFlyer may process installation source, campaign attribution, device identifiers, IP addresses, app events, and technical information to measure marketing performance and detect fraudulent activity.
These third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and data-retention practices.
7. PERMISSIONS
Depending on the features available and the Android version installed on your device, the App may request the following permissions:
Photos or Media
Used only when you choose an image for a custom keyboard background.
Microphone
Used when you activate voice typing or speech-to-text functionality.
Internet Access
Used to load themes, advertisements, remote content, analytics services, and app configuration information.
Notifications
Used only if the App provides update notices, feature reminders, or other optional notifications.
Permissions may be denied or revoked through your device settings. Some App features may not work correctly without the required permission.
8. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information processed through the App may be used to:
• Provide keyboard themes and customization features
• Save your keyboard preferences locally

We do not sell the content you type.

We do not share the content you type through the keyboard.
10. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
Keyboard themes, selected images, preferences, and customization settings are generally stored locally on your device.
Third-party service providers may retain technical, advertising, diagnostic, and attribution information according to their own retention policies and service configurations.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored App settings and custom keyboard data from your device.
11. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:
• Disable personalized advertising
• Reset or delete your advertising identifier
• Revoke photo or microphone permissions
• Remove custom keyboard backgrounds
• Clear the App’s storage
• Disable notifications
• Uninstall the App
• Contact us regarding a privacy request
Because the App does not require a user account, we may not always be able to identify information associated with a specific user.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Dapple Keyboard: DIY & Themes is not directed toward children under the age of 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
13. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should download the App only from trusted sources and avoid installing modified or unofficial versions.
14. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required by law, appropriate legal, contractual, or technical safeguards may be used for international data transfers.
