Welcome! I’m Daphne, a Boston-based writer, history enthusiast, and unapologetic art nerd. Whether wandering through the MFA, getting lost in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, or digging into an obscure historical rabbit hole, I’m always chasing stories—whether they’re painted on a canvas or buried in the past.  

By day, I work with various libraries, handling archiving, preservation, and research—a job that perfectly feeds my love for history and the tangible remnants of the past. By night (or whenever inspiration strikes), I write expository art analysis and musings on art, history, and pop culture—exploring how they intersect, challenge, and redefine each other.  

This blog is where I share those explorations, from contemporary installations that push boundaries to forgotten historical moments that deserve a second look. Expect deep dives into museum finds, cultural movements, and whatever intriguing topic that catches my eye.

When I get the time I will update my blog, and upgrade to a better platform, but I'm at this address for the time being.
