Dr. Daozhi Shen

I am Daozhi Shen, an associate professor at Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) of University of Waterloo. I obtained my PhD degree in 2019 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University, working with Prof. Norman Zhou. I received my BS degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

I have broad interests in functional materials and their applications. In particular, my research focuses on advanced nanodevices based on low-dimensional materials using various advanced fabrication and tuning techniques.
