There is a $50 fee per student to participate, which will be deducted on October 14, 2024
Deadline to enroll is October 14th for the 2024-2025 year.
After enrolling, students will begin to track their participation points and turn in forms for verification. To receive credit for the participation points, forms need to be turned in during the month of the participation. Such as when they go to a concert in October they need to turn in the form for the point in October.
For this first year, points can be counted from activities done from June to September of 2024. They must be turned in before December 2024.
In June of 2025, we will determine who has achieved their points to be inducted into NHSDA in the fall of 2025. These students will still need to keep an ACTIVE member status to be eligible for the Cord Ceremony their Senior Year.
An Active member will still need to earn Participation Points, Character Points, and the GPA requirement. The Participation Points required for the Active Member will be less than for Induction, but the Character expectation and GPA requirement will stay the same.
In the Spring of 2025, we will invite a new group of students to participate in earning their Induction Points. They will enroll and begin to earn points from June 2025 to June 2026, with their Induction Ceremony in the Fall of 2026. Current members will be asked to maintain Active Member status.
