Our research is in Computer Graphics. Generally, we are interested in creating immersive interactive digital worlds through technologies such as geometric modeling, physical simulation, and realistic rendering. These advancements support a variety of exciting applications, including Video Games, Animations, Virtual Reality, Embodied AI, World Models, etc. We particularly emphasize developing fundamental theories and algorithms that enable fast, high-fidelity physical simulations. Our previous work has primarily involved the visual simulation of natural phenomena—such as fire, smoke, wind and water—as well as the modeling and simulation of architecture and urban environments .
