I was born and raised in Beijing, China.
Outside of research, I have long-standing interests in art history, Chinese calligraphy, classical music, and science fiction, and theatre.
At Princeton, I have been involved with Princeton Chinese Theatre, where I adapted Liu Cixin's The Three-Body Problem for the stage and have also worked on alumni outreach and fundraising.
