Senior Parents

Dear Parents/Guardians of Danvers High Seniors,

In a few short months, your children will reach a milestone that means a lot to YOU, as well as to them. Congratulations!

There are many special events leading up to the big day itself - academic awards, scholarship night, prom, senior week activities. After they receive their diplomas there will be some time to celebrate with family and friends. And then, at 9pm, the Class of 2019 will reconvene for one last time together: Project Graduation!

The committee works hard to ensure that a fun-filled night has been planned so your child can celebrate in a safe, alcohol- and drug-free environment. Live enteratainment, physical recreation (swimming, basketball, zumba, etc), artists and plenty of food will keep them happy and engaged while you can relax after a very busy week.

Here is what you need to know:

• A contract signed by your child AND YOU (even if they are 18) is required to participate in Project Graduation. Please provide a phone number where you can be contacted that night. If your child does not arrive as expected at 9pm, you will receive a call.
• Tickets cost $25 and can be paid by cash or with a check payable to DHS Project Graduation. Payment should be submitted at the same time as the contract.
• Your child must be picked up by an adult at the end of Project Graduation. The final activity is breakfast at Danversport, with pickup at 5:30. They have been awake all night and should not be behind the wheel.

Finally, if you wish to donate or volunteer to help make the 2020 event as special as possible, your participation is most definitely welcome!
