Dario Antolini

Welcome!

Since November 2023, I am part of the TensorDec Lab as a Ph.D. student in Mathematics under the supervision of Alessandro Oneto and Elisa Postinghel. Soon, I will be a Semester Postdoc during the ICERM Spring Semester on Metric Algebraic Geometry.

Previously:

• Scholarship student at the University College of Excellence "Luciano Fonda", Trieste, 2018-2023

  • Master thesis (joint programme with SISSA): Tropical Geometry and 2-dimensional rigidity, advisor: Matteo Gallet (U. Trieste)

  • Bachelor thesis: Anomalous Elliptic Curves in Cryptography, supervisors: Francesco Fabris and Valentina Beorchia (U. Trieste)

Here is my full CV, updated on: September 21, 2026.

Here is my PhD thesis, which I recently submitted. Check it out.

Research interests

Algebraic Geometry and its relations with Combinatorics, in particular in problems arising from applications. I am particularly interested in Tropical Geometry, Tensor Decomposition, Rigidity Theory and Matroid Theory.
