PLIDA Certificate: Officially recognized proficiency in Italian, validating language skills for academic and professional opportunities
The PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) certificate is an official Certificate issued by the Società Dante Alighieri under an agreement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the University of Rome La Sapienza. It is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and by the Italian Ministry of University and Research as a qualification for university enrollment of foreign students on concessional terms.
PLIDA certificate proves the proficiency in Italian as a foreign language on a system of five levels: from A2 to C2, the most advanced, which certifies a mastery very close to a native level, and can be used in all professional field.
The examination consists of four tests that verify the candidate’s proficiency in the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.uration of the exam
