ALL dancers from our discover dance, elements, performance and comp programs participate in our shining star showcase.
Build CONFIDENCE, bond FRIENDSHIPS and make MEMORIES - your child will benefit from the experience of performing live and you’ll LOVE cheering them on.

DRESS REHEARSAL & PICTURES
What: Rehearsal in COSTUME
When: Friday, March 8th, Saturday, March 9th & Sunday, March 10th
Where: Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP) - DJC Performing Arts Center
Dress Rehearsal will take place at NWP - DJC Performing Arts Center
Please arrive at the listed arrival time on your costume info sheet.
Please arrive with costume on, hair done and make up applied. (See below for instructions)
PICTURES
Please MEET in front of D308 to be lined up for pictures
D308 is upstairs above the theater. Please follow signage to the classroom. Lobby elevator can be used.
YOU MUST PRE ORDER PICTURES - DUE MONDAY MARCH 4th

Pre Orders must be ordered and paid for BY MONDAY MARCH 4th.
Orders will be accepted at the venue at event day prices. Orders will not be sent if payment is not received by Sunday March 10th.
Once your dancer is with their teacher, parents can return in 30 mins
Please meet your dancer near D208 (main level) to be picked up
DRESS REHEARSAL
Dancers will then be taken into the theatre by their teacher to the stage where they will have a 15-minute time slot to practice their dance on stage.
Dress Rehearsal allows dancers to get familiar with the stage & bright lights without an audience.
We will be looking for one volunteer for our little dancers. Sign up genius has been emailed or CLICK HERE to access
Volunteers will assist in getting dancers to and from the stage and returning kids to parents.
Dancers will be brought to D208 when they are finished and you can then take your child home.
D208 will be used for the changeroom! Change Rooms can be used for changing costumes during this time. Parents are to assist the dancers changing during Dress Rehearsal. Males should use bathrooms for changing. Please remind dads and brothers D208 is a FEMALE CHANGING AREA.
Dance Drive Festival ~ NWP Theatre - April 24th - 28th

DANCE DRIVE FESTIVAL
What: PERFORMANCE in COSTUME
When: April 24th - 28th Times TBA
Where: NWP - DJC Performing Arts Center
Tickets: Can only be purchased at the venue the day of performance.
Dancers arrive 1 hour prior to performance time, this allows time for warmup and rehearsal before hitting the stage.
Please watch for signage once you arrive at the Theater for the DANSCONNECTION dressing room. Dressing room assignments change each year.
Dancers should arrive with costume on, hair done and make up on.
Each class performs their dance for the audience and adjudicator. At the end of the session of dances, dancers are awarded a medal and comments from the adjudicator.
Parents can watch the session, there is usually an entry fee to watch ranging $7-$10 pp.
