Candidate Statement: As they say in my home state of New Mexico, “We are all related,” a phrase rooted in Native American philosophy that reminds us of our connection to one another. As a proud AAPI educator and Orange Unified graduate, I am committed to promoting inclusivity and ensuring the voices of all communities are heard. I am running for Racial and Ethnic Minorities Director to advocate for union members, especially those from underrepresented groups. I will work to build a union that prioritizes well-being, representation, and support for all.
