I prioritize creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment where students feel encouraged and supported. The least restrictive environment is key to student success, as it allows each learner to thrive in a space tailored to their needs and potential.
I show students I care by being prepared, present, and committed to their growth, emphasizing the importance of a positive attitude toward learning.
Above all else, I aim to help students develop stellar character skills that will guide them in both their academic journey and their lives beyond the classroom.

I believe that every teacher is fundamentally a literacy teacher, regardless of the subject they teach. Whether it's English, science, history, or math, the ultimate goal is to equip students with the tools to communicate the concepts effectively. Mastering the vocabulary, jargon, and language of a subject empowers students to engage deeply with the material, interpret its meaning, and apply it in new contexts. Teaching is, at its core, about fostering this understanding and assessing how well students can articulate their knowledge back to the world. We explored the deceptive nature of sensationalized headlines and unchecked sources, fostering skills to discern fact from fiction. My goal was to empower students to be informed, responsible citizens who could navigate and challenge the complex landscape of modern media.
