I am a PhD student in development studies at Cornell University, Ashely School of Global Development and the Environment. My research interests include waste governance, plastic consumption/reuse, circular economy, and public engagement in climate change. I have been conducting research in US and China with mixed-methods.

I received training in environmental science, sociology, and political ecology at Wheaton College (IL) and Yale University. Experience from working with environmental NGOs and think tank also shapes my research and drives my commitment to work that extends beyond academia.
